Our certification as a Zoetis-Certified canine semen freezing facility involves meeting strict criteria related to equipment, training, and procedures. We use state-of-the-art equipment, including advanced cryopreservation technology, to ensure that semen is frozen and stored in optimal conditions. Our veterinarians and technicians have undergone extensive training to become experts in the process of collecting and freezing canine semen, as well as maintaining and storing frozen samples.

Reproduction Services
- Reproductive/breeding consultations.
- Pre-breeding health screening and certifications, including PennHIP, OFA, and DNA testing.
- CAER/OFA eye examinations with a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist several times annually.
- Canine semen collection and analysis, including Computer-Assisted Semen Analysis (CASA) technology.
- Semen evaluation, extending, packaging and shipping- both nationally and internationally.
- In-House (MiniVidas) progesterone testing. The MiniVidas is a clinical level immunoassay machine and one of the gold standards for progesterone testing for breeding and c-section timing. It typically takes less than 2 hours for us to get same-day results.
- Vaginal cytology to help determine estrus staging.
- Frozen semen handling, shipment and short-term storage.
- Artificial insemination through vaginal, trans-cervical (TCI) and surgical methods.
- Pregnancy ultrasound evaluation.
- Planned and emergency c-section assistance.
- Prenatal care and whelping direction and support.
- Neonatal care and puppy examinations, deworming, microchipping, vaccinations and assistance from birth through placement into their new homes.
